War Is Over
War Is Over is an original acrylic painting inspired by Nesta from A Court of Thorns and Roses and is part of the Bonded to You Collection. It explores the moment when the fight against yourself finally ends. The wolf, the darkness, the parts of ourselves we fear and try to silence are no longer enemies to defeat, but something we can finally learn to accept.
Nesta spent so long fighting herself, trying to survive everything she carried within. Here, the wolf is no longer in a cage, the Mask of Death rests quietly in her hand, and there is nothing left to conquer. As they touch beneath a soft violet, pink, and golden sky, what remains is exhaustion, acceptance, and peace. And when the war is finally over, she discovers that what she feared was never her enemy, but a friend waiting on the other side.
Hand-painted with professional acrylics on a 30 × 40 cm oval canvas, this one-of-a-kind artwork features hand-painted golden details that catch the light throughout. Finished with a protective varnish and signed by the artist, War Is Over is a story of self-acceptance, inner darkness, healing, and the peace that comes when you finally stop fighting who you are.
